Tru Calling: 1×01 ‘Pilot’ Screen Captures

Hey guys! I thought with Tori busy filming her new projects that I would try to fill the quiet here on the site with screen captures from her previous projects through the years. So, without further ado I’m happy to announce I’ve added captures of Tori as the young Meredith Davies from her brief appearance in the pilot episode of the once popular show Tru Calling starring Eliza Dushku which aired back in 2003. Tori was just 15 at the time.

NBC’s ‘Blindspot’ adds Tori as potential Roman love interest

Congratulations Tori! I’m so excited for you!

No Tomorrow‘s Tori Anderson has booked a recurring role on Blindspot, EW has learned exclusively.

The actress will play Blake, a charming socialite that Roman (Luke Mitchell) strikes up a friendship with, but his motives may be more complicated than we first believe.

Could Blake be a potential love interest for Roman? “Blake is an incredibly smart and charming business woman and sparks fly when she meets Roman for the first time,” executive producer Martin Gero teases.

Tori Joins CBC’s New Scripted Series ‘Caught’

Congratulations, Tori! Looking forward to it’s premiere next year!

Allan Hawco (Republic of Doyle, The Book of Negroes) returns to CBC with CAUGHT (5×60), a new series set in 1978. Locked up after a drug deal goes wrong, David Slaney (Hawco) makes a daring break from a New Brunswick prison to attempt one more deal with his former partner (Eric Johnson) – all this with a dogmatic police officer, Patterson (Paul Gross), at his heels. It’s Slaney’s last chance at freedom – but in this tale of bravado and betrayal, nothing is what it seems and no one can be trusted. The series stars Allan Hawco along with Paul Gross (Alias Grace, Hyena Road, Passchendaele), Tori Anderson (Open Heart, No Tomorrow), Eric Johnson (Fifty Shades Darker, The Knick, Smallville), Charlotte Sullivan (Chicago Fire, Disappearance), Greg Bryk (Bitten, Frontier) and Enuka Okuma (Rookie Blue, Battle of Sexes).

A CBC original series, CAUGHT is adapted from Lisa Moore’s acclaimed novel and produced by Take The Shot Productions. Hawco will star in the series and serve as showrunner. Executive producers include AllanHawco, Perry Chafe, John Vatcher, Alex Patrick, Peter Blackie, Rob Blackie and Michael Levine. The series will start production in Newfoundland in spring 2017.

‘No Tomorrow’ Canceled by The CW After One Season

The CW has made it official, canceling softly rated freshman dramas Frequency and No Tomorrow.

Both series got off to a slow start in the fall and neither got a back order — the first time in the CW’s 11-year history that no new fall series received a full-season order.

Neither No Tomorrow, based on a Brazilian format, nor Frequency, based on the 2000 movie, got traction despite a marketing push and strong lead-ins. The shows averaged a paltry 0.26-0.27 adults 18-49 Live+same day rating for their 13-episode seasons.

There was a little window for Frequency and No Tomorrow to come back if they had a big spike in their Netflix runs this spring, but that did not happen. Meanwhile, the CW brass are said to like all six of the network’s pilots, making for a very tough field with six strong contenders. With nine existing scripted series already renewed for next season, the fates of Frequency and No Tomorrow were sealed.

‘No Tomorrow Among Monte Carlo TV Fest Nominees

Congratulations to Tori and the rest of the cast of No Tomorrow for the nomination!

The Monte Carlo TV Festival has unveiled the nominees for its 57th Golden Nymph Awards. There is a varied range of international fare in the mix, and also a crop of recognizable names — some of which haven’t found big awards attention domestically.

Notably, it’s interesting to see the CW’s No Tomorrow, which did only 13 episodes and is facing cancellation, nominated in the Comedy Series category. So is NBC’s Superstore, now in its 3rd season, but with no major mentions at home.
